The Double Cartridge Mechanical Seal (also known as a Dual Cartridge Seal) represents the pinnacle of safety and reliability for critical pumping systems. This pre-assembled, self-contained unit integrates two independent sets of mechanical seal faces (an inboard product-side seal and an outboard atmospheric-side seal) along with an internal sleeve and a heavy-duty gland plate. By containing an isolated buffer or barrier fluid chamber between the dual faces, this cartridge design provides a definitive seal against highly toxic, hazardous, volatile, or abrasive fluids. Delivered factory-calibrated and pre-set with centering clips.

Light abrasives, light sewage, petrochemicals, light chemicals and corrosive chemicals.
