The Double (Dual) Mechanical Agitator Seal is the ultimate heavy-duty sealing solution designed for mixers, agitators, and reactors handling highly toxic, hazardous, flammable, or explosive media. Because top-, side-, or bottom-entry mixing shafts are exceptionally long, they are prone to severe dynamic shaft run-out, vibration, and angular deflection. This seal incorporates two independent sets of sealing faces (inner/product side and outer/atmospheric side) with an isolated barrier or buffer fluid chamber between them. This dual barrier design completely seals off the process vessel, ensuring zero emissions into the environment and maximum equipment uptime.
