The Single Mechanical Agitator Seal is a specialized, high-performance sealing solution designed specifically for top-, side-, or bottom-entry mixers, agitators, and reactors. Unlike standard pump seals that operate at high speeds with clear fluids, agitator seals must withstand severe shaft run-out, deflection, and eccentric movement (wobble) caused by the long, heavy mixing shafts. Featuring an integrated heavy-duty bearing design and extended internal clearances, this single-acting seal provides an absolute barrier to prevent process vapors, gases, and powders from escaping into the environment, all while taking up minimal space on the vessel nozzle.
